Plan your Trip
From Switzerland, France or Milan: Follow the highway which runs along the coast from Genoa to Pisa. Take the Viareggio exit and follow the signs for Camaiore. Follow this road in direction of Lucca. You will pass a village called Valpromaro. After Valpromaro, on the height of an abandoned gas station, please turn to your left and follow the indications for Orbicciano.
From Bologna: Take the highway from Bologna to Florence. At the height of Florence, take the highway A11 following the signs to Pisa and Lucca. Exit at the first exit for Lucca. Follow the indications for the center of town (centro). Once you have reached the old city walls, keep driving with the walls to your right following the signs for Camaiore. At one point keeping to the left you will pass a bridge over the river Serchio. After this bridge, turn to your right following the signs for Camaiore. You will pass the villages of Capella, Torre S. Martino in Freddana and Monsagrati. Keep going for another 1,5 km after having passed the village of Monsagrati. On the height of an abandoned gas station, turn to your right following the signs for Orbicciano.
From the south and from Pisa airport: Follow the highway which runs along the coast from Rome to Pisa. Follow the green indications for the highway A11 for Lucca and Florence (indications in green also indicate Genova). Exit at Lucca Est (the second Lucca exit) and follow the signs to the center of the city. Once you have reached the old city walls, keep driving with the walls to your right following the signs for Camaiore. At one point keeping to the left and still following the indications for Camaiore you will pass a bridge over the river Serchio. After this bridge, turn to your right following the signs for Camoire. You will pass the villages of Capella, Torre S. Martino in Freddana and Monsagrati. Keep going for another 1,5 km after having passed the village of Monsagrati. On the height of an abandoned gas station, turn to your right following the signs for Orbicciano.
Follow the windy road uphill for another 1,8 km until you reach the church of Orbicciano to your right (when in doubt stick to the right). After having passed the church, continue for another 200 - 250 m and take Via Villa Spada, that is the sandy road (paved at the very beginning) on the right bordered by a laurel hedge. You have to go straight on until you find a little church on the right, here you have to take the street on the left. Perfect! Casa Parducci is in front of you.
